Beautiful surroundings!
Beautiful surroundings! The hostess was the best! Very helpful and nice persons... Hot water in the shower
You have an own bathroom but it is downstairs and the room is upstairs...With the river next to you, I had to pee quite often in the night...I had then to go on the balcony outside to go downstairs to the toilet..That was not so nice also as it was cold in the night and dark..I would have preferred a bathroom close to my bed room.. They have a lot of animals..The dogs are everywhere..If you like animals it is great..For me, because of that it was not so hygienic as they are on all the furniture..But that is different for each person..I am not such a fan of having pets everywhere...

Extremely welcoming, clean room, hot shower, perfect place...
Extremely welcoming, clean room, hot shower, perfect place for relaxing and enjoying nature. What I enjoyed the most was the interaction with the family owner, they gave me the most local experience in Colombia. We spent time playing board games, hanging out by the camp fire and cooking together. Their included breakfast is not typical that you would find in a hostel, it’s like a brunch breakfast to me in the States: very substantial, beautifully presented and very tasty. I will return to this hostel if I visit Salento again. It’s a 15min walk and 5-7min bus ride to the center but I enjoyed the nature walk next to the river. Plus, who would like to stay in the center with tons of tourists and commercial restaurants when you can enjoy nature like this? Will totally recommend this hostel to travelers to Salento.

The most amazing hosts I have ever had.
The most amazing hosts I have ever had. I have never felt so welcomed and well treated. They even helped me out with a special decoration for my friends birthday. The location is close to salento and it is a place to really connect with nature.
